Double award: Two German Packaging Awards for our outstanding packaging solutions

We are delighted that two of our projects have been recognized at the German Packaging Award 2024 this year.

Elanco Seresto – sustainable packaging

The previous packaging, in this case for a dog flea collar, consisted of a tinplate can with a PET sleeve. It has now been switched to a pulp can with a cardboard band. The advantages include a significant reduction in CO2 emissions by approximately 70%, as well as a considerable decrease in overall weight. Another positive aspect is the ability to position the packaging upright on the shelf. The overall concept is impressive in terms of material substitution and reduction, as well as energy savings.

Gardena EcoLine – design, creation & refinement

The Gardena EcoLine packaging won an award in the “Design, Layout & Finishing” category. The jury was impressed by the overall concept, which consistently continues the sustainable orientation of the product line. The EcoLine packaging is made from 100% recycled corrugated cardboard and uses environmentally friendly, water-based inks. The minimalist, natural design reinforces the perception of sustainability and helps to clearly distinguish EcoLine products from the standard range at the point of sale. The harmonious color scheme between packaging and product creates an aesthetic and natural overall design that underlines the brand’s sustainable message.
