Interpack 2023 – our Report and Highlights
We were at Interpack again this year and present you the highlights here.
-Production of Fiber Form packaging
-10x faster production than conventional Fiber Form methods
-Little water needed for production
-80% less CO2 emissions

-WorldStar Award 2023 for our NATUREFORMER KFT 90 machine
-Jointly with the Pagès Group and MCC Verstraete, recyclable or compostable -label solutions suitable for fiber packaging were presented, among others.
-Bottles and cans are held together by means of adhesive dots
-Alignment of the bottles via camera, so that the front of the label always faces outwards
-Use of two different adhesives for bottles and cans
-Up to 1.5 l bottles can be equipped with it

-K3 cups with cardboard band with up to 98% recyclability.
-Cardboard material detaches from the cup independently in the disposal process due to mechanical pressure
-Development of a machine that joins two ends of a folding box by means of mechanical hooking.
-This saves gluing, which consumes 10% of energy
-Joint development by Be Good Friends (BGF) and TotalEnergies Corbion.
-Foamed PLA cup, making it lightweight and reducing material use
-100% bio-based and compostable
-Material made from seaweed
-Material is produced from the seaweed without waste with minimal use of resources.
-Manufactured without pesticides and no land is needed for cultivation
-Label which is very easy to peel off in water.
-Specially formulated adhesive “unsticks” during the bottle washing process, and the label adhesive and liner remain in one piece, making labels easy to remove from the washer
