Verpackungsdesign Wagner Big City Pizza

Nestlé Wagner breaks new ground and introduces fresh dough for pizza, focaccia and tarte flambée to the refrigerated shelf for the first time. The new product range will run under the subbrand “Ernst Wagner’s”, which was successfully launched on the German market last year as the roof for Wagner premium pizzas.

Like the frozen pizzas, the packaging design conveys the premium positioning through a stylish colour scheme, largely in black. In addition, the design also visualises the homage to the company founder Ernst Wagner, who travelled through Italy in the 1950s, was inspired by the pizza recipes there and implemented them at home in Germany on the basis of German baking tradition. The popular Wagner baking art, which can now also be used by consumers for their own pizza creations.
